About

I am the Owner of Compass Rose Training Solutions^®, a company that provides drinking water and wastewater utility consulting, safety, laboratory and operator certification training. I've provided training for the Maine Water Utilities Association, the Maine Water Environment Association, the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission, the Maine Joint Environmental Training Coordinating Committee and the New Hampshire Water Pollution Control Association.

I became a member of the Wastewater Treatment Profession in 1989 when I began working at the Lewiston-Auburn Clean Water Agency (formerly known as the “Lewiston-Auburn Water Pollution Control Authority) on Lincoln Street. I joined Maine's Drinking Water Treatment Profession in 2013 when I worked at the Greater Augusta Utility District. In-between those two positions, I worked as a wastewater treatment plant permit writer for the Maine Department of Environmental Protection.

Upon my retirement in 2022, I started my own company, Compass Rose Training Solutions^® (www.linkedin.com/in/prand-crose) where I train water and wastewater operators on proper laboratory compliance sampling and testing procedures, State/OSHA safety regulations and Operator Certification Examination training.

I am a Lake Auburn Watershed Commissioner, a Certified Environmental and Safety Compliance Officer, a Registered Environmental Manager, a Maine DHHS Class 2 Licensed Drinking Water System Operator and a Maine DEP Grade 5-B Certified Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator.
